Actor Ravindran appointed chairman of Kerala State Chalachitra Akademi

Actor Ravindran has been appointed chairman of the Kerala State Chalachitra Akademi, the state's film promotion body. Concurrently, music composer G Venugopal has been named chairman of the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi, which oversees theatre and music promotion in the state.

Both appointments reflect Kerala's focus on strengthening its cultural institutions.
