Adani Group pledges ₹1 lakh crore investment in West Bengal by 2035

The Adani Group has announced plans to invest ₹1 lakh crore in West Bengal by 2035, aiming to diversify into power generation and transmission. The group intends to enter power distribution in Kolkata, a sector currently dominated by the R.P. Sanjiv Goenka Group through its flagship company CESC.
The investment marks Adani's expansion into West Bengal's energy infrastructure, seeking to challenge existing market concentrations in the state's power sector.
