Adityanath launches electric and hydrogen buses in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched electric buses and hydrogen buses as part of the state's public transport modernisation initiative. A fleet of 110 electric buses is scheduled to become operational by June 15, according to the announcement.

The state plans to expand the bus fleet to 500 units based on demand and performance metrics. The move aligns with efforts to reduce pollution and transition towards cleaner transportation infrastructure.
