Air India extends flight suspension to Saudi Arabia until October 24

Air India and its subsidiary Air India Express have extended their temporary suspension of flights to Saudi Arabia through October 24, 2026, citing the prevailing security situation in the region.
The suspension covers three major Saudi cities: Jeddah, Riyadh, and Dammam. The airline had earlier implemented the suspension in response to ongoing regional tensions, including attacks attributed to Houthi forces in the area.
The extended suspension affects all scheduled operations to these destinations and reflects concerns over passenger safety during the period of heightened regional instability.
