Allahabad High Court seeks UP govt reply on Saharanpur mosque demolition, stays ₹6.41 crore recovery

The Allahabad High Court has sought a response from the Uttar Pradesh government regarding the demolition of a mosque in Saharanpur. The court has also stayed proceedings for recovery of ₹6.41 crore in damages.

The petitioner told the court that authorities demolished the mosque within three days of issuing an eviction order. The matter is now pending before the HC for further hearing.
