Bandhu 2.0 from Cocktail 2 draws mixed reactions on social media

The makers of Cocktail 2 released Bandhu 2.0 on Wednesday, a recreated version of the original track composed by Pritam. The song features vocals by Kavita Seth and Neeraj Shridhar, reprising their work from the original. Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kriti Sanon perform in the track, which includes humorous moments of the actors joking about being trolled.

Netizens on social media have given mixed reviews. While some praised the nostalgia factor, others criticized the added beats and choreography. One user commented that Bollywood is now trolling itself preemptively. The film Cocktail 2, directed by Homi Adajania, is scheduled for release on June 19, 2026.
