Three-day nationwide bank strike to disrupt services in Nagaland

Banking services across Nagaland are expected to be disrupted during a three-day nationwide bank strike scheduled from September 28-30, 2026. The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), representing seven constituent organisations, has issued notice to customers about the strike.
Bank managements will attempt to provide skeleton services at branches, but UFBU cautioned this may not be universally possible. Customers have been advised to complete transactions before the strike and use ATMs for emergency cash needs. The State Level Bankers' Committee Nagaland expressed regret for the anticipated inconvenience.
