Bengaluru FC beats Chennaiyin FC 2-0 in southern ISL derby

Bengaluru FC claimed bragging rights in the southern derby with a commanding 2-0 victory over Chennaiyin FC in the Indian Super League. Ryan Williams opened the scoring before half-time, with Mihailo Perovic doubling the lead after the interval to secure the win.

The triumph marks Bengaluru FC's second consecutive victory in the ongoing season. Chennaiyin FC, meanwhile, continues to search for its first win, having struggled to find form early in the campaign.

The southern derby has traditionally been a closely contested fixture between the two clubs, but Bengaluru's dominant performance on this occasion underscored their superior preparation and execution.
