Bengaluru Metro airport line 72% complete, on track for 2027 opening

Work on Bengaluru Metro's airport line has reached 72% completion, according to the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL). The corporation stated that the project remains on schedule to open by 2027.

The airport corridor is a key expansion of the metro system, designed to improve connectivity between the city and Kempegowda International Airport. Officials said the project is progressing as planned and they are confident of meeting the target timeline.
