Overnight rain brings relief from heat in Bengaluru

Overnight rainfall brought a respite from the prevailing heat in Bengaluru, with temperatures dropping by a few degrees Celsius. The city had been experiencing temperatures hovering above 30°C for the past couple of weeks.

According to the Kempegowda International Airport weather station, the rainfall measured 94.2 mm during the night. The moisture and cloud cover from the showers provided relief to residents from the extended warm spell.
