Bhopal FDA Inspects Major Restaurants Over Hygiene Violations

The Food and Drugs Administration in Bhopal conducted inspections across multiple restaurants and food establishments on Monday, identifying significant hygiene and documentation breaches. Inspections covered prominent venues including 10 Downing Street (TDS) and Pirates of Grill at DB Mall, along with several dhabas and eateries across the city.
Common violations included uncovered waste bins, inadequate segregation of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food storage, and missing staff medical fitness certificates. At Delicious Restaurant & Ice Cream Food Court in People's Mall, the food registration certificate was not displayed. Samples from various establishments were collected for testing, including flour, paneer, beer, and vegetables.
The FDA issued specific instructions to establishments to improve cleanliness standards and implement corrective measures for regulatory compliance.
