Congress Chief Patwari Challenges BJP President Nabin on Deaths, Health Crises in MP

Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Jitu Patwari on Wednesday targeted the BJP government ahead of BJP national president Nitin Nabin's visit to Indore. Patwari called on Nabin to seek answers from the state government on alleged deaths linked to toxic medicines, contaminated water and poisonous cough syrup before participating in official programmes.
Parwari cited six critical issues affecting Madhya Pradesh, including the deaths of tribal children in Balaghat, over 24 child deaths in Chhindwara from toxic cough syrup, reported deaths of newborn babies at MY Hospital in Indore allegedly from rat bites, and the Sagar spurious liquor case. He questioned accountability and patient safety across state institutions.
Nabin is in Indore on September 17 to launch the Swamitva Yojana registration process. In a post on social media, Patwari directly addressed the BJP president, urging him to "light the diya" but first demand government accountability on these public health and safety failures.
