BJP Chief Nitin Gadkari, Madhya Pradesh CM To Launch Swamitva Land Rights Scheme in Indore

BJP National President Nitin Gadkari and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will launch the Swamitva Yojana in Indore on September 17. The scheme aims to register property rights for inhabited land in rural areas across the state.
So far, 68.47 lakh rights records have been prepared across 41,568 villages. Approximately 50 lakh private properties will be registered free of cost, with the government bearing all stamp and registration expenses. Registration camps will be held in three phases at the panchayat level: September 17-19, September 24-26, and October 1-3.
The government has assigned patwaris as execution officers and tehsildars as registration officers. However, patwaris have raised concerns, fearing their names as executants could expose them to civil litigation. State officials say all concerns have been addressed and patwaris face no risk if proper procedures are followed.
