BJP wins mayoral elections in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota

The BJP secured mayoral victories in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Kota in Rajasthan municipal elections held recently. The party's sweep across these three major urban centres came amid reports of clashes between rival groups and instances of cross-voting during the polls.

The elections saw heightened tensions at several polling stations, with supporters of different parties engaging in confrontations. Cross-voting—where some elected representatives voted against their party's official candidate—was also recorded during the mayoral contests.

These results reflect the BJP's continued political dominance in Rajasthan's urban areas.
