Boeing secures $20 billion US Navy fighter jet contract

Boeing has secured a contract worth more than $20 billion from the US Navy for fighter jet supply. The defence contract follows Boeing's earlier F-47 deal with the US Air Force, signalling continued reliance on the aircraft manufacturer for military aviation needs.
The contract announcement came as Boeing's stock price rose 2%, reflecting investor confidence in the company's defence portfolio. These major defence contracts represent significant revenue opportunities for Boeing as the US military continues modernising its fighter jet capabilities.
