Bull Rescued After 42 Hours Stranded Atop 60-Foot Water Tank in MP

A bull in Daduni village, around 10 km from Sheopur city in Madhya Pradesh, climbed a 60-foot-high water tank on Sunday evening and became stranded. The animal remained stuck for nearly 42 hours, drawing large crowds of villagers who attempted to coax it down. The bull reportedly tried to descend once but retreated upon seeing the crowd below.
After initial rescue attempts failed, officials brought a crane from Sheopur on Tuesday. Veterinary officer Sachin Upadhyay sedated the bull to make it unconscious, following which it was carefully lowered using the crane. The Daduni panchayat arranged food and water for the animal throughout the ordeal, while police and the animal husbandry department coordinated the operation under the supervision of Manpur police station in-charge Satish Dubey.
