BAI confident of avoiding venue issues at Badminton World Championships

The Badminton World Championships will return to India after 17 years, with the showpiece event set to take place at New Delhi's Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium from August 17-23.

The Badminton Association of India has expressed confidence that the tournament will proceed without the operational issues that marred the India Open earlier this year, when monkey sightings and bird droppings disrupted proceedings at the same venue.
