Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell: Fever star addresses teammate's comments

During her exit interview, Kelsey Mitchell of the Indiana Fever revealed tensions surrounding her teammates' experience of playing alongside star player Caitlin Clark. Mitchell stated that she and her fellow players "get a lot of flak" simply for being on the same roster as Clark.

The comment sheds light on the dynamics within the Fever locker room and the broader conversation around how high-profile players can affect team dynamics and public perception. Mitchell's remarks suggest that some teammates feel the spotlight on Clark creates additional pressure or criticism for the rest of the squad.

Clark, one of the most prominent figures in women's professional basketball, joined the Fever in the 2024 season, drawing significant media attention and fan interest to the franchise.
