Centre seeks Akshara Theatre plot for RML Hospital expansion

The Centre is pursuing acquisition of the Akshara Theatre plot in Delhi for expansion of Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital. The move is aimed at enhancing the hospital's capacity and infrastructure.

Akshara Theatre, a cultural venue, currently occupies the land that authorities have identified for the hospital's development project. The acquisition would allow RML Hospital to add critical healthcare facilities.
