Kerala UDF to decide on PM SHRI scheme adoption soon

Kerala's United Democratic Front coalition will soon decide on adopting the PM-SHRI (Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India) scheme for schools, according to a minister in the state.

The decision comes as the UDF weighs the scheme's potential benefits for approximately 1.8 million students against concerns regarding BJP influence through the programme. The PM-SHRI scheme aims to upgrade selected schools across the country.
