Cheetahs to roam in tiger territory at Veerangana Durgavati Tiger Reserve

Madhya Pradesh is set to introduce cheetahs into Veerangana Durgavati Tiger Reserve, marking the first time the big cats will roam in tiger territory within the state.
The state currently hosts 60 cheetahs, with 57 at Kuno National Park where they were initially translocated from African countries four years ago. The expansion to the tiger reserve represents a significant step in India's wildlife reintroduction efforts.
