Chennai Metro Phase II records three tunnel breakthroughs in three days

Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has achieved a significant milestone in its Phase II expansion project, completing three tunnel boring machine (TBM) breakthroughs over three consecutive days.

The rapid succession of breakthroughs marks noteworthy progress in the ongoing tunnelling operations for the metro's second phase. Each breakthrough represents completion of a tunnel segment under the project's construction schedule.
