Coimbatore to use 11.85 tonnes of seized plastic for road construction

Coimbatore has decided to repurpose 11.85 tonnes of plastic that was seized during enforcement operations. The confiscated plastic will be processed and used in road construction work across the city.

The move aims to address both waste management and infrastructure development simultaneously, making productive use of seized materials rather than disposing of them conventionally.
