Five commodity stocks hit 52-week highs despite Sensex decline
Five stocks listed on the BSE Commodities Index reached fresh 52-week highs on Wednesday, even as the Sensex declined 429 points to close at 72,638. Valiant Organics led the rally, followed by OCCL, Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem, Fine Organic Industries and Manali Petrochemicals. The stocks have gained up to 48 per cent over the past month, bucking the broader market weakness.
The outperformance of these commodity-linked companies reflects selective strength in the sector despite overall market headwinds.
