Congress Slams BJP Over Dropping Rajiv Gandhi's Name From RGPV University

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Congress president Jitu Patwari on Tuesday condemned the state Cabinet's decision to drop 'Rajiv Gandhi' from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV). Patwari called it "politics of hatred" and said the university was built during Congress rule.
Partwari warned the BJP government of facing consequences, stating: "Whatever you do, you will have to face the consequences. If the Madhya Pradesh government does politics based on hatred, it will have to face the result." He also referenced former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee while questioning the decision, saying Congress would respect institutions named after any former prime minister.
