Blenders and exporters drive up tea prices at Coonoor auctions

Tea prices rose at Coonoor auctions as blenders and exporters increased their buying activity. According to Global Tea Auctioneers, leaf offerings totalled 12,78,366 kg with 95 per cent sold, while dust offerings reached 3,06,770 kg, also witnessing 95 per cent sales.

The strong demand from key market participants pushed prices upward across both categories, reflecting robust buyer interest in the auction.
