CPCRI develops tree-top technology for coconut sap pre-concentration

The Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI), under ICAR, has developed a tree-top pre-concentration technology for coconut sap on a pilot scale. The innovation has been created with financial backing from the Coconut Development Board.
This technology is designed to improve the efficiency of coconut sap collection and processing, potentially enhancing the yield and quality of coconut-based products. The development represents an effort to modernize traditional coconut farming practices through scientific research.
The CPCRI, a premier research institute focused on plantation crops, continues to work on innovations aimed at increasing farmer productivity and sustainability in the coconut sector.
