Law firm Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advises Piramal Finance on ₹1,750 crore warrant issuance

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has advised on Piramal Finance Limited's proposed preferential issuance of warrants worth approximately ₹1,750 crores to Nithyam Realty Private Limited, a member of the promoter group. The warrant issuance is part of a broader fundraise of up to ₹3,850 crores, which also includes a qualified institutional placement of approximately ₹2,100 crores.

The preferential issue remains subject to approval from shareholders and stock exchanges. The law firm's involvement included structuring the transaction, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and drafting necessary documents and filings. A team led by partners Ruetveij Pandya and Abhilasha Malpani oversaw the transaction, with additional support from competition law and RBI regulatory specialists.
