Delhi to ban BS-IV and older commercial vehicles from November 1

Delhi will enforce a ban on BS-IV and older commercial goods vehicles starting November 1. The restrictions are aimed at reducing vehicular emissions and improving air quality in the national capital.
Gurugram traffic police have issued advisories to transporters and vehicle operators, urging them to verify emission standards and check registration documents before attempting to enter Delhi. The move comes as part of efforts to curb pollution from older commercial fleets.
Transporters operating commercial goods vehicles will need to ensure their vehicles meet the required emission norms to avoid penalties and entry denial under the new regulations.
