Delhi HC shifts Patiala House, Rouse Avenue court proceedings online amid Jantar Mantar protest

The Delhi High Court announced on Friday that the Patiala House and Rouse Avenue court complexes would operate entirely in virtual mode on Saturday. The decision was taken in view of ongoing protests at Jantar Mantar in the national capital.
The shift to online proceedings was deemed necessary to ensure the smooth functioning of courts while managing disruptions caused by the agitation in the vicinity of the court complexes.
This temporary measure will keep both court complexes functional while protecting the operations from potential interference linked to the protest activities.
