Delhi HC seeks police response in Parvesh Verma slap incident

The Delhi High Court has issued notice to police and BJP leader Parvesh Verma in connection with a slapping incident, seeking their responses on a status report filed in the matter.

Justice Sachin Datta directed both the police and Verma to file detailed replies regarding the case proceedings. The court is examining the circumstances surrounding the alleged assault.

The petition, filed by complainant Sahib Singh, also sought police protection for him and his family members in the wake of the incident. The High Court has taken cognizance of the protection request as part of its inquiry into the matter.
