Delhi to launch PUCC enforcement drive from October 1

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced that the Delhi government will intensify its enforcement drive against vehicles without valid Pollution Under Control (PUCC) certificates from October 1.

The move aims to curb air pollution by ensuring vehicles comply with emission standards. The enforcement drive will target both commercial and private vehicles operating in the city.

This announcement comes as Delhi continues to grapple with deteriorating air quality during the winter months, when pollution levels typically spike.
