Delhi-NCR schools told to skip sports events in Nov-Dec due to air quality

The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) has directed schools across Delhi-NCR and neighbouring states to skip outdoor sports events during November and December due to deteriorating air quality.
The directive aims to protect student health during months when the region typically experiences severe pollution levels. Schools are being asked to avoid organising sports competitions and outdoor physical activities during this period.
The measure is part of broader air quality management efforts in the National Capital Region, which faces acute pollution challenges seasonally.
