Domestic air passenger traffic dips 6.3% in August; IndiGo loses market share

Domestic air passenger traffic declined 6.3% in August, with scheduled airlines carrying 12.13 million passengers compared to 12.95 million in August of the previous year, according to DGCA data.
IndiGo, India's largest carrier by market share, saw its position weaken during the period. The decline reflects softer travel demand in the month.
