Masai Russell breaks women's 100m hurdles world record at Zurich Diamond League

American sprinter Masai Russell set a new world record in the women's 100 metres hurdles at the Zurich Diamond League meet. Russell finished in 12.09 seconds, breaking the previous record of 12.12 seconds held by Nigeria's Tobi Amusan since 2022.

Russell pulled clear over the final hurdle to secure the record-breaking performance at the elite athletics competition.
