Woman Dies in Wall Collapse at Indore Construction Site

A 32-year-old woman, Savitri Bai Solanki, was killed when an under-construction wall caved in at Mridang Garden near Phoenix Mall in Indore's Kanadiya police station area on Thursday evening. She was working as a labourer alongside her 26-year-old brother-in-law, Dinesh Solanki, when the structure suddenly collapsed, trapping both beneath heavy rubble.

Savitri Bai sustained severe injuries and died at the spot. Her body was sent to MY Hospital for post-mortem examination. Dinesh was injured in the collapse and was admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Police have initiated an investigation to determine whether safety lapses at the construction site contributed to the fatal accident.
