Drug Awareness Programme Held at Kohima School

A drug awareness programme titled Nasha Mukt Yuva for Vikshit Bharat was held at Rüzhükhrie Government Higher Secondary School in Kohima under the theme "My Health, My Pride". The event was organised by the NSS Unit in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports and the Regional Directorate NSS, Guwahati.

Dr. Moajungla, Medical Officer at CHC Chiephobozou, administered the Nasha Mukt pledge to volunteers and spoke on vulnerability factors, addiction stages, and the role of counselling in rehabilitation. During the youth engagement session, four NSS volunteers shared personal experiences navigating peer pressure and challenges.

Approximately 330 NSS volunteers participated in the event and pledged to remain drug-free, reinforcing the vision of a healthy and responsible youth community.
