ED Attaches Assets Worth ₹90 Lakh in ₹70 Crore Drug Trafficking Case

The Enforcement Directorate's Indore Sub-Zonal Office has issued a provisional attachment order under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act against assets linked to Ved Prakash Vyas, Dinesh Agarwal, Akshay Agarwal and others suspected of drug trafficking. The immovable properties worth over ₹90 lakh are located in Hyderabad and Madhya Pradesh's Mandsaur.
The investigation, based on FIRs registered by the Indore Crime Branch, concerns illegal possession and trafficking of mephedrone valued at approximately ₹70 crore. The ED found that proceeds from drug trafficking were routed through personal and business bank accounts, with suspicious financial transactions indicating placement, layering and concealment of illegal proceeds.
Three suspects have been arrested by the agency and remain in judicial custody. The ED conducted searches across Indore and Mandsaur on July 17, 2026. Further investigation into the money trail, attached properties and involvement of other suspects is underway.
