ED launches money laundering probe into JSSC-CGL exam irregularities in Jharkhand

The Enforcement Directorate has initiated a money laundering investigation into irregularities in Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (JSSC-CGL) examinations. The probe was triggered after the agency took cognisance of an FIR filed by the state police's Criminal Investigation Department and related complaints and chargesheets.
The ED action falls under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), signaling a federal-level crackdown on financial misconduct linked to the exam scandal. The move expands scrutiny beyond state-level inquiries into the competitive examination row that has drawn significant attention.
