Eight FTAs to unlock export opportunities across electronics, agriculture, gems sectors
India's introduction of eight free trade agreements is expected to significantly expand export opportunities across multiple sectors. Electronics, agriculture, and gems and jewellery industries stand to gain substantially from duty-free market access, particularly in the EU and UK markets where India's current import share remains relatively low.
The pacts aim to strengthen export resilience and diversify market opportunities for Indian businesses. With reduced tariff barriers, exporters can tap into larger markets and build competitive advantages in key global regions.
