Fake Passport Racket Busted in MP's Dabra; 70 Passports Seized, Assam Link Found

The Special Task Force (STF) in Madhya Pradesh has dismantled a racket involved in forging passports using fake documents. Police seized 70 passports and arrested two suspects, with an Assam connection emerging during the investigation.
Reyal Choudhary, a resident of Assam, was arrested from Dabra. Investigators found he allegedly possessed four passports in his own name. Choudhary had reportedly travelled from Assam through Betul before reaching Dabra, where he became involved in passport forgery operations.
The racket surfaced after around 40 passports were issued from a single residence in Dabra. Police grew suspicious when passport holders' names and surnames did not match local residents. STF teams have travelled to Assam to trace and arrest other suspects. Authorities suspect international involvement and are investigating further.
