Papaya Seeds Mixed With Black Pepper: FDA Finds Major Health Violations at Bhopal Restaurants

The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) in Bhopal conducted inspections at three major restaurants on Monday and found multiple health code violations. At Sagar Gaire Restaurant, papaya seeds were found mixed with black pepper, and the kitchen was exposed to the street. Storage areas had leakage risks, uncovered food items, and missing pest control records.
Hotel Ranjit Lake View had uncovered dustbins, inadequate drainage, and poor maintenance. Babu Ki Kutiya lacked proper food safety certifications, medical fitness records, and displayed no food safety license. The FDA collected samples from all three establishments and issued notices for necessary improvements and compliance with food safety standards.
