FDA seizes ₹39.43 lakh worth of paneer, khoya in Pune ahead of Ganeshotsav

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) conducted a seizure operation in Pune on Friday, impounding nearly ₹39.43 lakh worth of paneer and khoya. The operation resulted in the confiscation of 4,600 kg of khoya and 12,500 kg of paneer.

The action was taken ahead of Ganeshotsav, when demand for dairy products typically increases. The seizure is part of FDA's efforts to ensure food safety and prevent substandard products from reaching consumers during the festival season.
