GCC to undertake infrastructure maintenance across three regions

The Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) plans to take up infrastructure maintenance works across three regions, focusing on improvements to bridges, subways, culverts and footbridges. The project is budgeted at ₹77 lakh.

Residents have flagged concerns about the deteriorating condition of subways in the areas, prompting the civic body to prioritise their repair and upkeep as part of the broader maintenance initiative.
