Police in Goa have arrested two individuals on charges of defrauding over 60 women by convincing them to provide their bank accounts for illegal mule operations. The accused allegedly misled the women, promising them financial benefits or employment opportunities.
Investigations revealed that the accounts were being used to channel illicit funds as part of a larger fraud scheme. Authorities are continuing their probe to identify additional suspects and trace the money trail linked to the operation.
