Golf faces bigger challenges in India than football, says sports commentator

Following Minerva Academy's Ranjit Bajaj's critical remarks about golf in a podcast, a sports commentator has written an open letter defending the sport. The commentator argues that golf in India faces systemic challenges that extend beyond concerns about elite participation.

The response suggests that criticism of golf should account for the sport's broader developmental constraints in the country, rather than focusing solely on its perceived exclusivity or the wealth of its players.
