HAL partners with BEML, Adani Defence to boost Prachand helicopter production
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) has signed agreements with BEML and Adani Defence for manufacturing fuselage structures of the Prachand light combat helicopter (LCH). Under the partnership, BEML will produce 48 fuselage structures while Adani Defence will manufacture 42 units.
The move comes as HAL aims to meet its contractual obligation to supply a total of 156 Prachand LCH aircraft. By bringing in private sector partners, HAL seeks to ramp up production capacity and accelerate delivery timelines for the indigenously developed combat helicopter.
