HDFC Bank Extends Keki Mistry's Chairman Tenure Till September 2026, Sets August AGM
HDFC Bank has received Reserve Bank of India approval to extend Keki Mistry's tenure as interim part-time chairman for another three months until September 18, 2026, or until a permanent chairman is appointed, whichever comes first. The extension was announced after the bank's board meeting on June 18.
The bank has scheduled its 32nd Annual General Meeting for August 5, 2026, via video conferencing starting at 2 pm IST. It has proposed a dividend of ₹13 per equity share for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, subject to shareholder approval. The dividend will be paid on or after August 6, 2026, if approved.
