Himachal: Man defrauded of ₹1.35 lakh on the pretext of his son's marriage

In Hamirpur, an accused person allegedly cheated a family of ₹1.35 lakh in the name of arranging his son's marriage. He is accused of extracting money from the victim family on the pretext of fixing the match, buying clothes for the engagement, and covering medical expenses.

A complaint has been registered with the police, and officials are engaged in investigating the case. The accused also took additional money by narrating a story about the girl's mother falling from a tree.
