Himachal Pradesh introduces mandatory dress code for teachers in government CBSE schools

Himachal Pradesh has implemented a mandatory dress code for teachers across 148 government CBSE schools in the state. The initiative aims to boost professionalism and ensure uniformity among educators while accounting for local weather conditions.
Female teachers have been provided multiple attire options under the code, while male teachers face a single formal requirement. The state is also moving forward with plans to establish 100 new CBSE schools and has recently filled approximately 2,000 teaching positions.
